Fall Break

Havasupai was one of the best places I have ever been to!  This trip showed me discipline and that I can do anything if I try hard.  I admit, it was not a piece of cake.  But I can achieve anything with hard work.

Once I got to the village, I felt pretty good.  We ate lunch and talked to people.  But then we had to go two more miles.  I made it to the campground, then I saw one of the beautifulest waterfalls ever (Havasu Falls).  I took a nap then got to see another fall (Mooney Falls).

I woke up with lots of caterpillars everywhere.  I wouldn't have gone if I knew they would be everywhere.  We finished the hike to the falls then set off to see another fall.  We saw the beautiful fall and made it to the village. #biggestlunchever!  It wasn't till dark that we made it to the car. It was a long and hard eight miles back but I made it.  Next time we have another big hike I can make it 20 miles a day!

Why I Chose Running

I chose running because I wanted to be an athlete like my Mom.  She inspires me with her confidence and work.  She shows me awesomeness and working hard will make a great person.  I want some of that. What I like about "Mile with Mimi" is that you can stop when you want to and push yourself forward when you can.  It is hard to push forward.  It is hard to keep going.  I KNOW I'll get better.  It takes a lot of guts to run, but it's all in your head.  You choose if you want to keep going. Running is hard for me.  I stop, it pains me.  I miss a few days because I am scared.  I normally get back up but it is getting harder.  It is hard not to stop six times in just a mile!  Today is October 10, 2017 and I am choosing right now to push myself harder.

Summer 2017

          A few weeks ago I witnessed one of the most exciting and learning summers ever! My summer first started out going to Rocky Point, Mexico. My family settled in a cozy and nice Beach house. We immediately went to the beach and had a great time. Luckily we only stayed a few yards away from the beach.                   The next morning I woke to getting my swimming suit on to go swimming at the beach again. This time it was much warmer than when we last went. This time I went deeper in the water. Once I was in for good thirty minutes we went to the market. Then we went to the best restaurant I ever tasted. Soon I noticed a big pink blotch on my toe. Yes it hurt some. But we went swimming twice again, and  that helped me to not notice it as much. I suggest you wash your hair after you go swimming each day. And believe me, you will wake up with what looks like a heghog in your hair.       ...

I wake up at 7:15.  My day is a good start.  I first take a shower.  Then, take Lefty on a walk.  P.S. I didn't eat breakfast because of Fast Sunday.  I fasted for Mrs. Johnson, our school librarian.  We are now at church and I sit next to my cousins.  The rest was BORING!  That is because everybody was gone on Fall Break.  I find myself watching a movie and fighting a lot with Andrew, aka Max.  I've been here from 12 to 5:30 and it is quite BORING! Come back to blogging now.  I don't know what happens now because it is 6:40.  I am now watching another movie, Moses.
